Most of the Gaga album sales from 2009-2012 were physical before the streaming era. Taylor re released her music in the streaming era which was genius of her tbh, plus releasing 5 albums in the last couple years helped her too

It was going to happen at some point. Ariana released 3 albums back to back but they're short. Taylor is catching up on albums and re-releases and all of these are all over 15+ tracks, the re-releases are insanely long with like 25 or more. It's very impressive to see she's doing huge numbers with both streaming and physical sales.
