RAMROD 109,707 Posted October 25, 2022 Share Posted October 25, 2022 Adidas has ended its partnership with the rapper formerly known as Kanye West over his offensive and antisemitic remarks. “Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech,” the company said in a statement Tuesday. “Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness. It comes after the German sportswear company faced pressure to cut ties with Ye, with celebrities and others on social media urging Adidas to act. And it’s a German company Not only that but the founder Adolf Dassler was a member of the NSDAP and profited from Hitler’s 1936 Berlin Olympics. They needed to act sooner. I also despise how all these business ties were still intact when Kanye West was out wearing White Lives Matter t-shirts. I’m glad no one tolerated anti-Semitism but I also feel the need to point out not everyone felt the need when he attempted to ridicule the BLM movement. Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here?
