tbh i dont even think Madonna meant it in a shady way. She's just from another gen.

When Madonna wants to shade she shades hard and is actually mean about it too (her mocking Gaga for YEARS and partaking in the media hate train against her).

In some ways, I think this is karma for the treatment she gave Gagz lol plus Cardi is a Little Monster afterall so :giggle:

Madonna is very self centered, nothing new. Her post was cringeworthy how it as made.

But let's be honest, the core of the message was totally true. She, Grace Jones, Cher and so on paved the way to the female artists being free and powerful in their art. Rihanna, Gaga, Cardi, Nicki, Katy, Miley and much much more had to fight to get their place in the business of course. But let's not pretend Madonna didn't help to pave the way for female artists to have a voice in music industry. She did. Amongst others.

It wasn't that deep at all, and she talked about how she paved the way for sexual content in female artists. But what I disagree with, is that Madonna did it explicitly but not in a ****-ish way in her music videos & lyrics, it remainded artistic in some ways. I find WAP to be straight up sexual content without any sophistication. Also if i was a mediocre rapper I wouldn't talk trash about the most influential artist with one of the best discrography to this day in pop music.

madonna always wants to be the center of attention..back in 1992 when Sinead shreads a photo of pope on snl and made national headlines...

of course madonnasaurus made a parody of it..because she needs ATTENTION.

Yes, because without Madonna right now, in 2022, we would have only male artists on charts. You guys are a hoot.

And I want to add something more: she did MORE HARM to the pop music than good, now fight me on that.

TELL HER, CARDI! :applause:

Those post reeks of white entitlement!! The fact she especially mentions the POC girlies too, not a good look!! :partysick:

She literally ended her post with clown emojis. Could she be more blatantly shady

hum no need to be aggressive over my post that actually said our generation of female pop stars also had to fight for getting recognition in a very well known sexist world.

Telling she's the ONLY ONE who made the industry easier for women is wrong. But saying she had zero influence in today's music field is also totally wrong. Nothing is totally black or white.

I'm not the one being a hoot, honestly.

Lol Cardi should have a single called " pressed" instead of "press", there was nothing extreme offensive from madonna. She was giving her opinions on the female pop industry
