Btw the issues with Bey and the songwriters on Renaissance was not an issue of credit, as far as I understood it was an issue of her team contacting the other artists' labels/management to get the approval, and they were mad Bey didn't contact them personally to ask for permission. The album has compactness and its own solidity but above all a stylistic coherence. It is a mix of his latest works, starting from "Lover", with a marked touch and, in my opinion successful, of experimentation and research of new sounds. It's not perfect but perfection in music often results in bad results. This is not the case. Ranking (current): 1. Maroon 2. Snow On The Beach (feat. Lana Del Rey) 3. Anti - Hero (among her best lyrics ever) 4. Vigilante **** 5. Sweet Nothing 6. Lavender Haze 7. You're On Your Own Kid 8. Karma 9. Midnight Rain 10. Question ... 11. Labyrinth 12. Bejeweled 13. But I think it’s a specific choice. the problem I have with her last albums is that melodically the songs seem always flat. There’s no catchy chorus. Sometimes it’s like you are listening the same song but with different instrumental.
