And we still know nothing about LG7

Chromatica was released almost 2 years and 5 months ago, and we’ve yet to get any studio pics, song teases, etc. 

Lets compare that to her past eras

2y5m after BTW was released, Gaga had already released Applause and was doing promo for ARTPOP  

2y5m after ARTPOP it was spring 2016, and we know that Gaga was releasing an album that year. We also knew she was working with Mark Ronson after spending the last year in the studio with RedOne. 

2y5m after Joanne it was spring 2019, we knew she was working with BloodPop, and had previously worked on songs with DJWS, Sophie, and Boys Noize. We had a handful of studio pics from 2017 and 2018, and knew she was going back to an electronic sound.

I bet it'll be years before there's a new album. Joker 2 starts filming soon. And then she'll have to plan and rehearse for the Vegas show. It'll probably be late 2024/early 2025.

2 years and 5 months later and she has released Born This Way 10th Anniversary, Dawn of Chromatica, Love For Sale, House of Gucci movie, Hold My Hand and Top Gun soundtrack/score, finished the Chromatica Ball Tour and getting ready for Joker sequel during this time.

I’m pretty sure you get my point, I’m not trying to say she’s sitting around doing nothing  anyway is pulling up DOC and BTW 10th anniversary really receipts. We know her involvement in those are incomparable to an actual album. And the Top Gun stuff was all pretty much 2019? L4S was recorded in 2018… etc. Most of us know she was sitting on a handful of preplanned material before COVID hit.
 

Anyway Gaga handling multiple projects isn’t new to her career (between ARTPOP and Joanne she actually spent a lot of time finishing CTC, went on two world tours, a major promo campaign for CTC, spent months doing AHS, and still found time to post studio pics).

Yes! It is quite strange how quiet she's been online but she just finished the Chromatica Ball and now moving to the Joker stuff. We know she loves to keep herself busy and I kinda like that she doesn't tease stuff that early.

I’m just surprised it’s been a year since the HOG promo and still not a word, I remember that interview last year where she was asked about the next album and she was like “you know I always have music in my heart” or something like that  I would just like to know who’s she working with or the general direction. I’m sure she was working on it at the beginning of this year and maybe even on tour. But with Joker coming it’s likely she’ll hold of on the teasing until she’s finished.

I think she'll keep quiet for most of this next year. Rihanna is going to be taking over the scene with her halftime show performance and tour, and Taylor is going to be doing her thing too. Plus Beyoncé's part 2/3 and tour will be happening. Once these 3 get their time, Gaga will pop back up.

It's because she's not just a musician any more. It's  not her main/sole focus now that she has so much else going on. Preparing for and filming big roles takes a lot of time and energy, months or years even

I keep telling y'all she's going to slow down on the pop music so prepare yourselves. Pretty sure Chromatica was her big farewell to popGa (although Gaga please prove me wrong  )

I think she might extend her public absence of this past summer where she only appeared in public/posted online to perform or do other work related things. I think she is really drained by being in the public eye and is enjoying withdrawing into privacy.

That being said, we know she’s basically always working on music… so who knows when we’ll hear new Gaga songs!

I hope she dares to go experimental and doesn’t care so much about pleasing the gp anymore, like a Fever Ray/Björk/Grimes/AG Cook kind of hybrid sound from her would make me soooo happy.
