I've seen a YT video where legit tech companies offer their employees, all who are college graduates with computer degrees accommodation at work. And it isnt something fancy. Some employees have reclining chairs and sleep at their work station and some have a separate room where all employees sleep so they can have a 24hr rotation with someone always working.

I imagine factory workers have much more worse conditions and they probably have workers sleep at the factory.

Also, I don't think it's productive for people to direct their ire at consumers when it's the corporations that maintain these conditions.

True, but at this point people can't pretend they don't know what kind of system this is supporting. It's also true that many don't want to or don't have the means to invest in clothes made in decent conditions. It's definitely a vicious circle.

The owner can raise the salary, but they won't, cos that would mean they have to do price hike on the products which gonna hit the costumers in the end and losing their market.

Those are mostly American companies having their stuff manufactured over there tho.

Thrift, buy secondhand.

Otherwise, pretty much all fast fashion companies are the same in terms of worker conditions. It doesn’t really matter if you shop at SHEIN or H&M, it’s about the same. What sets SHEIN apart imo is their prices are so insanely low that people can go ham and buy tons of pieces for basically nothing. 

Buying one good pair of Nike shoes that you’ll wear for a while isn’t more ethical, but it is less harmful for humans and the environment than buying 10 pairs at SHEIN for the same price and having said pairs fall apart within a few months or just going out of style because SHEIN is tacky as **** and jumps on what’s trendy for a week.
