Because even though heal me and the cure are great songs but if WDYDT, HBF, Heal me and The Cure were any indication of what OG lg6 sounded like she can keep it. It would've been too generic. Nothing personal with DJWS. He produced ARTPOP which is my 3rd favourite Gaga album.

Those were for ASIB era though. Plus, I loved The Cure.

I don't think a project dubbed ARTPOP's little sister would be anything like these tracks

These was taken for the original concept of Enigma residency, Eli Russel confirmed this.

Maybe we are going to see more of this concept on the revamped Enigma shows for next year

Maybe it was supposed to be rock dance album like Prodigy. Wasn't Boyz Noize working with her during this time? Some of his sounds got similar sounds to Prodigy.

They allegedly only worked on the ROM and FW demos (there was something about their filename having implied they produced them). Babylon (as already known) and 911 (Madeon finished it) demos are by Bloodpop.

Where did you get this from? I’m fairly sure the album was rooted in ‘90s dance music from start considering the involvement of collaborators like Boys Noize, who are kind of known for that sound. 
 

Anyways, the visuals were confirmed to be for a magazine years ago, I don’t understand why fans continue to twist and misinterpret its meaning almost half a decade later.

Eli himself confirmed that after this shoot, Gaga told him that her show was coming up and that she wants this asthetic to which Eli designed the current Enigma concept and scrapped the shot altogether.

Yes, he did confirm changing the direction of the show, but no where in the interview did he say that that particular photoshoot was the visual inspiration. People are misinterpreting what she said.

Her saying "this is what I think I want to do for it" is not her directly referencing the photos, but rather her general idea for the show. Now did Russell overstep? Probably? Was the aesthetic likely different? Probably. But nowhere did this article confirm that those photos were for the residency.

I think you missed the Twitter thread where someone actually confirmed this. Another artist did similar photoshoot for some magazine and in one of the behind the scenes photo there was Gaga's picture the one with wolf mask on the coochie. And Eli shot that too. It was going to be an inspiration for the show. I wrote she wanted the asthetic not that the shoot was for the residency shoot.

I would like to see the Twitter Thread where this was confirmed tbh. Most of the discussion around the residency has originated from fan discussion as opposed to any primary sources. Not even trying to be shady, I'm just genuinely curious.
