HEARTSTOP 3,137 Posted September 26, 2022 Share Posted September 26, 2022 I was front row at their show, and this guy is a sweetheart. They performed hit after hit and he sings amazingly. I dare to say their show was better than Coldplay's which I saw the next week. I knew he performed sometimes shirtless and honestly I was hoping he did it too at my show. But he was super cheeky and made sure nothing would be shown, adjusting his shirt and saying "we have to keep it professional over here". I really don't get why people would hate them. Besides, the guitar guy had a trans flag guitar that he kept raising over his head the whole time, and Dan had really nice moments with the gay flag and with all the self-acceptance and mental health speeches, directed not only at the youth but also at their parents to make sure the message goes across. Even reminded me a little bit of Gaga. Their last album is also great when it comes to mental health and self-acceptance messages. They truly deserve their success.
