The Fame Monster is a great follow up but still eh. Basic by comparison.

You did not just call The Fame Monster basic :bear:

I think she's going to take her time with this album and make something similar to Beyonce's self-titled: a mixture of a bunch of her past work all molded together in one, cohesive project. Praying for a visual album but not getting my hopes up :(

I think you chose the wrong words to express your feelings: "needs to"? Who needs it? Gaga? The fans? And I wouldn't like what you are suggesting, I want her to make easy music and enjoy it. We all know she is always 100% in everything he has, but most of the lyrics in Joanne and Chromatica are about pain. She needed to write those in order to heal, but c'mon, it's time to enjoy and not to take music so seriously:vegas:

what you're feeling is nostalgia - have you tried any other new rising artists? That may be more exciting for you lol

That was my feeling as well. She really just needs to give herself some space to find sh!t that excites her. Beyoncé didn’t exactly seek out hits with self titled (though plenty were hit worthy, to be clear), and now that Gaga’s had 2 bonafide hits almost back to back like she has, I think she has some cache as one of THE og ladies (which is sad to say considering she’s not old at all lmao) still out here killing it and can afford to recalibrate to what excites her and sacrifice nothing. AND she’s in the headspace for that, too, which is great.

Im such a big fan of rock so i would love her to do this genre for LG7, we need a sweet child o mine for our generation. But also i always want her to do a song like Man in the mirror, heal the world, they dont care about us from MJ or Imagine by John Lennon, some good song that brings so much positivity and peace to the world through a good message, i mean shes been talking about kindness a lot with Chromatica and Stupid Love but i dont think it embodies that kindness message through the songs since they are more songs about her traumas.

Quizás bastaba respirar, sólo respirar, muy lento...💙

I think Ambitious in the sense that it reaches more people... to inspire.

I think Serious in the sense that it's what she wanted to really do musically...in that moment, in that state. Not affected, pressured, persuaded.

I would've said this before The Chromatica Ball but this tour really showed she is still a master of 'the art of darkness' and is creatively ambitious. I'd love LG7 to reflect everything TCB embodied.

You're right actually. Fingers crossed

I hope Gaga is ambitious with LG7, if the Chromatica Ball is any indication, it will be. But I don’t agree that it has to be “serious”, if anything Gaga lightening up would be much needed breath of fresh air.

Watching Five Foot Two, seeing how stressed and and traumatized Gaga was during the process of Joanne was serious…

A Star Is Born had a very dark storyline, and was nothing but serious…

Chromatica was Gaga at her worst state ever. Lyrically, the mental anguish in some of Chromaticas songs are super dark and serious…

House of Gucci Gaga went full method and took things very seriously…

The Chromatica Ball was Gaga having an incredible time, being happy and healthy, but she seemed much lighter.

LG7 can have the ambition, but it doesn’t have to drive Gaga mad to be a great album.
