ProfessionalClown 10,645
I CANNOT choose between these 3 covers. Each of these I prefer over the original and I have no shame.

StrawberryBlond 14,263
Day 16: Those of us who have seen the 1997 version of Lolita will always associate the opening of this piece with THAT scene. This intro had always been so foreboding but after hearing how it was used in the movie, hearing it now sends chills down my spine. As it was always a piece I knew of but wasn't aware of the composer, I thought it was by someone else, so it took me a while to find. Honestly, I haven't even bothered to listen to the rest of it in full but that intro alone has just stuck with me as one of the most commanding intros in classical. I also partly picked this one to be a bit more obscure as I realised this day's challenge was going to be just that for the average GGD member, seeing as we don't really vibe with classical. I could have posted a far more well-known piece but I'll just leave that to others who are a bit lost as to what to post on this day. There are some really famous pieces out there, everyone, just search "best classical" and you'll definitely find something you recognise.
