This. It gives very similar vibes to the 2015 TV movie about her life directed by Angela Basset. I was hoping to see something different, her life story has always fascinated me. This movie looks a little too light to truly do it justice. I know Naomi is gonna absolutely slay it, potentially earn an oscar nod for it as well, but I just hope the movie does one of earth’s greatest ever talents the justice she has deserved for decades.
