Amen. I like Bad Bunny (not his music) for breaking away from the stereotypical expectations from male artists - but this is still just a fraction of a drop of what a lot of female artists too and they’re barely hanging on for dear life during the second week of their album releases.

The fact of the matter is many people are male identified and male artists will always have it easier because of that. It says a lot that gay men (not even girls) are the biggest supporters of female artists.

I love how Bad Bunny has always used his platform to elevate upcoming female artists. Like Tokischka, yung Mikko, Villano Antillano

Para tu informacion, si soy de Puerto Rico. Aun vivo aqui, desde que naci. No soy fan del genero urbano, pero si eres realmente de aqui, sabes que es inevitable escuchar reggaeton y saber de esa cultura. Me ha tocado escuchar reggaeton desde que se leakeaban los mix y los ponian en la guagua escolar. Desde que los reggaetoneros, antes de pegar, se presentaban en fiestas patronales y en la Feria 2000. No sere fan del genero, pero creeme, conozco de su historia y su cultura. No me ha quedado de otra. Por eso opino lo que me da la gana.

Bad Bunny doesn’t do the bare minimum. Theres so many ways bad bunny has grown as artist. Idk i just think you really don't know about bad bunny like that. Seems like you grew up with American Culture and you appreciate American Female artists more. Thats fine.

And honestly, I cant say he is doing the bare minimum, but compared to how other artists work, he looks like he isnt doing much artistically. I mean, read his lyrics! Listen to him sing! If he feels to you like he has grown as an artist, then the bar is TRULY low for artists like him. Disappointing.

I think his fusion on genres and his ability to explore beyond reggaetón is what makes him a great artist. He is still a young artist. I know he will evolve as an artist. His lyrics aren’t revolutionary but the way his work is produced is incredible. His last album was such a good fusion of many genres. His sound will eventually get old but I think he has found ways to have his albums sound different. At his Core Bad Bunny i feel makes Trap & reggaetón songs but he has been exploring. I think he is doing enough for how young his career is. He has so much more to create. 
 

I mean he still hasn’t released the lady gaga collab. 😂

There is no such thing. He said he tried to contact her team before the release of Chromatica and received no response. Honestly, Im glad a collab hasn't happened.
