He quite literally is the music industry right now. His album is on track to become the most streamed one in history (and in the shortest time period), and his tour is making like $10M per date :applause: ITS INSANE :air:

Overrated...

if the chart results are based on the sales/streams of the album, then he's rated just as he should be

That's amazing, in such a short time he achieved so much. For a singer who doesn't sing very well without a lot of editing :iamfair: he definitely earned the respect of the GP very quickly aside from the people who only follow him for his looks and clothes. Glad for el conejo malo.

The bar for male stars is as usual… Bad Bunny, Morgan Wallen, DJ Khaled… I don’t mean anything against those artists, but it’s just funny how they win without doing anything truly special (like Beyonce with her album).

Taylor come soon please - shake up the album chart!

This is one of the reasons why I consider him overrated. Everybody is so happy that he is winning. Yet they fail to see how this industry is so male driven. To me, the standard is just not equal between male artists and the rest. And that is why he is overrated to me. It means nothing that he is number for 10 weeks and is selling his tour like hot cakes. Peak in popularity means nothing. Haven't you been paying attention to how this industry works?

You will always get someone saying “overrated” when any particular artist is on top for too long. It’s such a basic and cringe thing to offer to music discourse lol
