A Reminder To All Little Monsters

In prepping for tonights show, i decided to take a moment to look back on how much you mean to mean to me. You know i used to judge our celebrity obsessed culture. I rolled my eyes at the fans that got tattoos and I judged those who waited outside of hotels. I rolled my eyes and judged them until a tiny woman from NYC became my everything. Now i totally get it  You all became such a massive part of me in ways that i never expected. There are monsters I met at the Monster Ball who im still incredibly close with. As corny as it sounds, you truly did save me. You were there during the darkest times in my life when i swore id never see the light again. You were there when no one else was   I love you to the moon and back a few times

I would add that it's also Gaga that saved us because she took us in her ship. We are the crowd that is c-comint out to the show. We are the paps - she's the jester. We build her legend, she leads the way. 

Honestly that song alone gave me energy to fight a winter storm. This is everything

Deep down i dont think she ever intended for "us" to happen. She just wanted to make music but every night she saw a bunch of little "hers" staring back. They were so lost and so broken and so she took them in. She gave them a home of sorts where they could be who they were without anyone saying "youre too weird. Too different. Too unique". She loved them with every cell in her body. She wasnt the first one to name her fans but she was the first one to completely change what "i love my fans" really meant. What she has created isnt something that has an end. We're bonded for life

When i got my monster paw tattoo, my tattoo artist asked me 3 times if i was absolutely certain i wanted this permanently on my body. I told him "i know it seems creepy. How do i know that? Because i used to be just like you. What you dont understand is this is the symbol of the family i never knew i needed"

I was watching a clip from the BTWB recently and definitely felt this. She was about to sing Princess Die and was talking about how she can see broken people in the audience, depressed, people thinking they won't be able to make it and she reassured them that they can and they will. But I felt like she was also telling that to herself. We all know she struggled with drugs at the start of her career, so I think she was saying that both to her fans and herself. They -we- both share the same struggles at the end of the day.

The old BTWB clips just break my heart because if you watch closely, you can she how stiff she was because she was hurting so much. And yet she never let on to how much pain she was actually in. She couldve been like "i love you guys but i gotta cancel the show tonight because my hip is killing me". Instead she pushed herself until her hip finally said no more. That scream during Scheibe still haunts me. She was in insane pain and yet she still got up because she loves us that god damn much. If that isnt love then idk what is

I wouldn't really call it love, but dedication and professionalism. She knows she will disappoint fans if she cancels. And she doesn't. I feel like that's why the Chromatica Ball only had 20 dates, she knows she can handle this, this is her limit. And it's better than any other tour where she had to cancel (probably because her label pushed her to have lots of dates, which is unrealistic given her health issues). I applaud her for not wanting to be like Adele where she's like whatever, **** them, I'll reschedule. She realizes we work to earn the money and some of us even traveled from another country to see her. And I appreciate it.
