I mean Gaga was at a Weinstein party at some point so even her could be accused of knowing and enabling it if we do assumptions.

Now I kinda agree that there's no way it stayed super secret since Courtney love was basically warning "if you're a young actress don't go meet Harvey Weinstein if he invites you" in 2005 so it had at least been circulating a bit indeed...

But we can't be sure that a precise person knew and dgaf so maybe we shouldn't list enablers? Even if yeah many probably were sadly...

I consider JLaw or everyone who turned a blind eye as an enabler .First of all ,men like Harvey get to do whatever he wants to do because he is in a position of power so everyone who knows how he abuses that power and still helps  him to stay in power is an enabler.Secondly,if someone knows what is happening behind the scenes and still fails to report so that the perpetrator can get away with that crimes is an enabler.

Turning a blind eye to injustice is siding with the oppressor.

In this case,I believe a lot of actors knew including JLaw and decided to turn a blind eye.

I think the general public confuses what “power” actually means in Hollywood.

Just because actors are the faces and celebrities behind these things doesn’t mean they have the power to hold up the moral compass of society.

In my work place, I constantly have to navigate people doing unsavory things because the world we live in demonizes people who speak truth to power. Just because these celebrities have to navigate the toxic cultures that exist in work places all over the world, on a public scale, doesn’t mean you can judge their choices to survive in their industry for livelihood. 

It is not your place to say who is complicit, why or how—because you yourself would crumble under the same pressure you’re putting on these strangers who are just people living and working trying to survive.

I can assure you Courtney Love wasn’t the only one who knew, she just didn’t care enough to talk about it. But Weinstein’s behavior was the worst kept secret in Hollywood, literally everyone knew, tho they might not have anticipated the extent of it. He was the most powerful man in the business, very few people had the power to speak up and expect their careers to go on. It was probably easier to downplay the gravity of the allegations and turn a blind eye, which most people did for years until it wasn’t possible anymore.

Well now I checked and seen all the public jokes alluding to it in the years prior to the scandal popping... Yeah it seemed pretty well known indeed.

Even if she had heard of it, which she most likely had, what could she have done? As powerful as she was in the music industry, she was a newcomer in Hollywood. It wasn’t really her place to say anything, especially since she barely crossed paths with the guy.
