I don't believe her music is reflective of Kate Bush at all (and I'm saying this as a mild fan of Halsey).

If anything, in terms of most recent-ish pop works, Kate Bush's influence can be seen in Marina's The Family Jewels and FKA twigs's MAGDALENE.

Gaga is literally the reason i got into making music and my music doesn't sound anything like hers

Is it just me or has it become impossible to go into any GGD thread about a female singer who isn't Gaga without seeing a bunch of the first comments trash-talking the artist in question? Like, the Reply Guys are out of control and it is so not fun to read threads on here anymore. It's giving Madonna Nation and I remember when we used to be VERY clear to distinguish ourselves from that forum in the way we talk about other artists.
