In yesterday’s Twitter Space, Jay continued to spar with American inequity but also seemed to take issue with the idea of addressing it by targeting the wealthy. “We’re not gonna be tricked out of our position,” he said. “Y’all locked us out. Y’all created a system that, you know, doesn’t include us.

We said fine. We went our alternate route. We created this music. We did our thing, you know, we hustle, we ****ing killed ourselves to get to this space. And, you know, now it’s like, you know, you know, ‘Eat the rich,’ and, man, we’re not stopping, so that evolution is, you know, from us.”

Gross, it’s almost impossible to even grasp how much money a billion dollars is.

While I don’t think anyone is blaming Jaz Z for the movement of wealth to a select few people and corporations, if he wants to insert himself there then fine, be a target.

You know Jay Z, life isn't just about you, you gotta share and you gotta help. A damn shame this is how some rich people feel about "their" money. Whatever money you earn it's not "your" money, if you get it it's always because of a community, other people involved in it. If people don't buy your music u won't have this money. And money is money, it's not real, it's not life. If you can't realize that in life it's mostly a lottery, being able to play the game with cards you deal with, and some can't play it right, lack of luck, or huge obstacles and they need help why not help them? But that's why there's this anti-rich sentiment, because all they do is pollute the Earth without any consequences, complain they don't wanna pay taxes, or commit tax fraud, get involved in abusive deals wihtout consequences and use their money to throw it out on a dumb vacation or private jet when there's 8654355468453 problems in this world you could've fixed or at least tried to.. Idk you got money, power, influence and u do nothing with it, I will never ever understand it. I will never respect it. Be involced in something other than yourself

It's funny he thinks he went in an 'alternate route' when he very much uses and benefits from the same system that was used and is continued to be used to exploit the poor... You don't make a billion via 'alternate route'...

It's pathetic that people who literally don't have to lift a finger to continue to live in luxury for the rest of their lives feel like they have a place to vent about being 'persecuted' while people in the same country are dying because they can't afford medicine
