It’s no secret that home girl can WRITE and I honestly believed we’d get all re-recordings before getting a new album 

For those out of the loop: 

Speak Now is having some trademark trouble because there’s some other company/brand with the name Speak Now so they’re trying to figure that one out. No malicious intent from either party, I think it’s a common occurrence in the trademark world. So no Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) for now.

Shake it off is having some legal troubles with the writers of the cheetah girls song; people keep saying she can’t release 1989 Taylor’s Version because of it but I honestly think she could drop the album on streaming for now without Shake it off and once the case is closed she could release the physical versions and update the streaming ones to include shake. OR just continue dropping one song from 89TV every so often until all songs are out. At the end of the day, no 1989 (Taylor’s Version) for now. 

Debut MUST come last for full circle effect so no Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version) for now

which leaves us with rep, who can’t legally be re recorded until she turns 5 years old this November. Many have noted the dress she wore last night was reminiscent of the diamond tub from LWYMMD video, but I think it looks a lot like her dress she wore 13 years ago when Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time. All time. What do those two scenarios have in common? Kanye West. So all I’m getting from this new album announcement is that reputation (Taylor’s Version) is the next re recording

TL;DR: I think this new album was made fairly quick (it’s no secret that home girl can WRITE) to hold us off until repTV, which will be coming early next year, as there’s some kind of legality involving the last 4 re recordings sans debut which must come last  

edit: to further this theory of the album being a quick put-together, the tracklist only says side A & B so to me that means that the vinyl will only have one disk with a maximum 44 minute runtime. Compare that to the 60+ minutes for Folk/More and 100+ minutes of the re recordings.

I see the jet debate hasn't died down. People will one day look back at it and realize how ridiculous it was to hold the collective responsibility of private jet emissions on a single woman for the sake of gossip and self entertainment while the Kardashians, the Carters, the billionaires and the rest continue traveling as usual because deep down people don't actually care to hold them, or the politicians accountable.

Some of yall probably think Gaga travels across continents on foot

Lowkey I think the Kardashians bought that bad press for Taylor. People were mad at Kylie Jenner first because she took a three minute flight from the bottom half of LA to the top half of LA. Then the next day it’s magically revealed that Taylor’s jet has been used every day this year. Never underestimate the power of a scorned oligarch

I literally thought the EXACT same thing. Apparently private jet services are commonly shared/used by several celebrities, so it's not out of the question for the Kardashian/Jenner PR team to have gotten the scoop that Taylor also used that same private jet.

It's so sus because the news broke out literally a day or two after Taylor. Could also be one person/team targeting celebs and spilling the beans on their jet usage.

After spending years working on new material, I'm sure they don't want to get lost in the media hype of a significantly bigger performer's release. Ava was smart to delay, as much as it sucks to wait three more months. Carly could do the same, or release early.
