I just listened to the official release and they minimize all of Britney's solos by adding Elton's voice, and they reduce the amount of riffs she has in the song. In the leak, she has sections where it's her voice alone - the official release doesn't allow for that. I can see why she's a bit upset now and calling herself background vocalist.

It is clear Britney is not fully coherent ...but that does not mean she does not deserve to be free. There are millions of ppl with different mental health struggles who live perfectly fine and freely and live among us and operate normal lives. 

Just because someone has mental health issues does not mean they need to be locked up, institutionalized or have a conservatorship forcefully placed on them. At the same time, fans of Britney need to stop pretending like her behavior is 100% "normal". There is deff something up and that's OK!

She has every right to feel insulted upon hearing the final version.

they didn’t give her any solo moments and took out some of her adlibs.

the version that leaked last will is superior- and even that version didn’t have enough solo britney but at least it had ONE chorus of Brit. 

she really did become his backup singer on this track .

it low key feels like he kind of used her ngl. I know she is prob grateful and happy with the collab but like...if you aren't really going to use another artists voice then why even feature them? Unless you legit just want them on a track for commercial reasons (which it seems like Elton kind of did...this is Britney's big comeback moment to music after all....). I didn't think Elton would be commercially hungry even now but this sort of proved it for me.

You have to reread it.

It is VERY sarcastic. She clearly did not like the song and is thanking in a sarcastic manner by complaining why her baby picture was included as if she was close with him, mocking him and inviting the queen, and for being included in

*his song*

as a

*background vocal.*

Makes me wonder if she agreed to this collaboration or she just did not like the the outcome of the song.
