Cancel the interest for good! That’s the outrageous part of this whole scam.

And cancel any interest that has accrued since.

For real :messga:

These stories of people saying things like "I had $60k in debt, I've paid off $40k and now I only owe $50k!"

Whimsical bitch

I'm genuinely so happy if this happens, and thrilled for everyone it's going to help! Even though it's less than most of us hoped for, I know any amount will help ease some of the stress that comes with student loans.

Im sorry but if college costed that much i wouldnt do it. U end up in a bigger rat race than u already arz in a job and u add debt. Kudos to those who do it for smthg they really wanr but if ir was business or wtv else nah. Whats the point? Ur young and u have debts. Such a bad bad deal. Debrs are so dangerous

its better than nothing and if trump was president it would be zero so pls stop

at the end of the day if we cancel all student loans, ppl would want mortgages, all medical and credit debt to be cancelled.

that is not realistic

as much as i want all my debt cancelled, no body held a gun to my head and told me to take those loans out for college.

i wish it was 20k but 10k is better than zero

imo, if you take out loans you should pay it back.

I’m in college and have been actively avoiding taking out loans (going to community college instead of 4 year, living at home, working and paying tuition fees, applying for fasfa/grants) it’s not ideal because i don’t get to live in campus but I made the conscious choice to not take out loans unlike many of my peers.

$10K is $10K… everyone who has loans who I’ve spoken to about this is happy.

Is it enough? Of course not.

Who knows, by the end of Biden's term it could be 0. I think he's testing the waters. And we should be happy for what we're getting while advocating for more.

, they've bailed out every major failing corporation to the tune of trillions with zero strings attached

Isn't that a bit different tho? To my knowledge most Corporate bailouts including in the US have either been loans (that have to get payed back), or purchased shares (so the government bought part of the company and owned it, then sold back when it recovered) not free grants
