I think they're saving it for the next one when the rollout has gone to plan. I don't see how this being a short tour changes anything. This is literally her comeback on the road after the Vegas years and some of the biggest shows in her career, how is it not "eventful" enough to warrant a DVD? Not to mention all the missed opportunities of the past. It's more than time to do it. Also, Madonna did film the Blonde Ambition Tour in Japan, so recording a show there isn't unheard of. DC doesn’t have a roof but the sun was down by the time the show started and none of the lighting seemed compromised. I don’t think it ruined the show having an open roof and if anything, we got this moment where she pointed out the moon in the sky which wouldn’t have happened with a roof. From a fan standpoint. From a business standpoint you put out merch when your publicity peaks, which would be the case I'd the original rollout had taken place. Theyre not gonna put money into making and releasing a tour dvd for a tour that didn't even visit many countries. That'd be a financial mistake. Not to mention putting this on streaming services would cost her team very little, so your financial argument makes little sense imo. Haha she hasn't really ever promoted that because she gets paid regardless.
