Honestly? I prefer this to the original in many ways. The original is fine in the album but kinda eh pulled out of context imo though still a fun cute little bop. This one feels like it’s got a bit more heft. Obvi it wouldn’t make sense in the album given the right flow and such and where the song sits BUT what a great single release. It makes great use of the original song and truly does reimagine its potential. Love it. This can get put into so many dj sets basically as-is (not that the original couldn’t lol).
