Especially in the streaming era. It doesn't take that much to release a song on a streaming platform and let the artist promote it themselves via social media, does it? Kim has 728k followers on IG, if only 20% listened to a song twice on release day, that's 291,200 steams which is pretty good for an indie pop artist!
