If she removes that, I wonder if people are going to be like, "now get rid of the Anna Mae lyric, and the sample from the Challenger disaster."

she's not doing any of that stuff, like yall were lucky she even removed that lyric from HEATED :iamfair:

anyways stream this horny bop :ally:

also the XO sample was also met with criticism when ST dropped, she didn't do anything then and she wont do anything now.

Soon Tina Turner will ask for the removal of the "eat the cake Annie May" line from Drunk in love.

Just let entertainment exist. I get that words and different stances on issues have weight and people are allowed to be offended and disagree, but at the same time, it’s also annoying to have the public dictate what an artist should say. If you don’t like it, don’t consume it.

Off-topic, but never understood why everybody shames (or shamed) Monica for what it happened. I mean, if anything, Bill Clinton was the one to blame. He was married and was the president of the US, but she was the one accused of being a "slut" or whatever (oh yeah, having sex with a married man, what a big deal).

Monica Lewinsky always says how she doesn't want to talk about that incident anymore to then come out at least once a year and talk about it to the media. Now coming around with a 10 year old song just when there was some mild controversy with Beyoncé's lyrics... Guess she found her talking point of the season :mark:

She’s not actually upset, she’s clearly joking. But the fact that people are taking it seriously and calling the lyric “derogatory” is hilarious

In her ted talk she talks about how everytime she hears her name in a song she feels anxiety all over again but she has no choice but to poke fun now at it to deal with it :/ it’s actually sad

I agree with this only if Bey changes it to "Bill Clinton'd all over my gown", which makes more sense anyway :ally:

Yup she shouldve said this instead

Unfortunately there’s still a lot of Sexism here in America. Especially back in the 90s…SMH!
