Here for it! That means we get a new stage, new instrumentations, a way to reliably see her, and a guarantee that she's still willing and able to perform with everything she has to deal with. Imagine her ending the tour and then just *silence* for god knows how long. 

The way I see it, if we didn't have Vegas and had to rely on tours/album releases, idk if we'd have Gaga as a performer for as long as she said we'd have her.

Because the expectations were impossibly high. Then the production we got didn't take itself too seriously and didn't look perfect when watched through a compressed YouTube video. It was a new vibe we hadn't gotten much of before from Gaga instead of it being a "GAGA™️" show. The fans needed to find *something* to complain about.

This whole thread is gonna be filled with virtue signaling (and I cannot believe y'all made me actually use these Rep*blican words) Am*rican monsters who's gonna preach about her health as if we don't know.

Ultimately, if it's good for her, it is good for her. I'd rather have her perform somewhere if the alternative is not at all, but that does not mean that the international-non-western monsters should just shut up about it. We have every right to complain.

Maybe it's just my interpretation, but the article makes it sound like they aren't sure if Enigma is returning, just that Gaga is bringing back a pop residency with Chromatica songs likely included in the setlist. 

This is me doing the most elusive mental gymnastics known to man, but it makes me wonder if we'll get new material to coincide with the show. It will be 3 years after her last solo album, and, given her pattern of behavior, she probably has written new music. Is LG7 on the horizon?

in my opinion, just in response to all the speculation in this thread, we're getting lg7 soon. the fact alone that the chromatica ball is so different from the album itself and we have some of these beautiful, dark, artistic interludes make me think she's moving onto another project mentally already. i wouldn't be surprised if we get new material in the next year, with the darker, more abstract theme we're seeing in the interludes of the chromatica ball, just as enigma's spacey-animesque aesthetic somewhat carried over into chromatica.

for sure needs to be recorded and released a year or so after the residency ends for us international fans who can't afford to go

we don't deserve to be left out and her shows deserve better than a live stream

Urgh this is no shade to enigma as a show just as the only place she's going to perform is thousands of miles away from me. I hope this doesnt take time out of her pursuing other music endeavours

Personally I think the dark aesthetic was more to do with the fact that she was working with Nick Knight. Their work together is always beautifully dark

oh of course. i mean nick's also a dark artist, a lot of the stuff he's worked on, regardless of who it's with, is very dark and elaborate and abstract.

however, at the same time i also find it hard to believe that would come around without a natural inspiration/drive to produce that kind of work too. she seems *so* in her element on stage at the chromatica ball, and the interludes are so gorgeous, i really do think and hope she'll move in that kinda direction next. it just seems like too good of a direction to not be further developed on.
