The way the haters are all in here before the fans downloading, listening and declaring their hate for it. Beyonce keeping everyone pressed even in 2022 QUEEN!!!

Tbh idk how they could like dance music and hate this :laughga: I have things I’d change to round it out better as a whole album but the songs are fire front to back

Haven't been a fan of Bey for quite some time. But since Break My Soul snuck up on me as THAT summer bop, was actually excited for this album.

And it sure did not disappoint. :wtfga:

Alien Superstar is a masterpiece. :firega: Pure, Cozy, Move... all such gay-ass bops.

All Up In Your Mind... no idea what Charli XCX mess is this but it's good! :ladyhaha:

America Has A Problem.. slaps hard. :saladga:

Can someone confirm if Virgo's Groove and Alien Superstar are the best tracks on the album?

This website, which is a very popular music-rate website, has those two tracks with the highest scores.

Virgo's Groove scream to be a single, is really good

It's close to midnight and something evil's lurkin' in the dark. ○●

I love every Beyoncé album but this one is not doing it for me.

I'll have to listen more times to have a real opinion but I wasn't excited in my first listen at all.

the scars on my mind are on replay.

Ok so, after first listen I'd say I expected more from the whole Studio 54 influence. To me, this was just your usual R&B-leaning Bey. The songs I instantly preferred were the ones that took a radical other direction, namely the final section of the album. I'd say only Summer Renaissance truly embodies what I believed she'd be aiming for with this record. I also quite enjoyed the Grace Jones featuring.

So yeah, I'm not that crazy about most of what I've heard but I feel this is going to grow on me after a few listens. I thought Break My Soul was a solid single choice, it's definitely one of the easiest to get into instantly.

THIS!!!!!

People are even putting the songs in instagram videos! Y'all are BOLD BOLD! I heard Alien and a reggae sounding song on there. I don't want to hear anything else until I insert that cd, or Beyonce releases 15-30 second clips.

The versatility of her vocals is insane. I don't understand how anyone can say she didn't adapt her style to this... It just makes me think you're not familiar with electronic/dance music outside of top 40.

I don't know if I'm ready to say this is her best work. I hit next halfway through 2 different tracks. I'll have to spend more time with it, which I will enthusiastically.

Did she officially say there was a Studio 54 influence or was it all on early impressions from reviewers?

Regarding the "usual R&B", I feel like only 3-4 songs had that vibe. Everything else was much more intense/gay (for lack of a better word). This is such an unabashedly queer black album... It sounds like stuff MNEK would do, and I fücking love it.

Is grace Jones a feature or just sampling her vocals?

Actual feature. It's a highlight track for me.
