I think fame life became too much for Shawn especially with him being so young  and on top of that all mockery comments on twitter about his personality and sexuality probably didn't help either. I really hope he receives the proper support and closure soon as possible.

This. Of course there are much deeper things going on with his mental health, but people on social have been brutal to him.

Oh man, poor guy. It must be such a challenge to be dealing with very personal mental health or health issues but knowing that you have to disclose it in some way to the world because you have to provide a reason for cancelling and knowing there are millions of strangers out there interested in knowing what’s going on with you and many of them want to mock you and tear you down.  Fame always sounds fun until you think about the down side. Also, millions of dollars are going to be lost by the tour promoters, the crew, everyone involved in the tour, for a cancellation of this scale. It must be so difficult to make a decision like this knowing it impacts so many people.

Also, no lie, I randomly went on Ticketmaster late last night trying to find another concert to go to (im addicted to concerts) and I almost bought tickets to Shawn, but I wanted to wait until morning to ask my husband and a friend if they wanted to go. Glad I didn’t waste the time and then have to wait for the refund.

87 tour dates seems way too many for anyone, let alone someone struggling with their mental health. 

I hope he gets the help he needs.

Idk much about him other than gays trying to yassify him out of his heterosexuality just because they want his booty & he's quite soft spoken which leans into a stereotype.

But his mental health HAS to be taking a beating. He's been put in this situation by our community.

I hope him the best, he seems like a really nice guy but its such a sour decision in my opinion, professionally speaking. I just couldn't bring myself to cancel so many shows knowing people payed a ticket and decided to invest time and energy on me...On the other hand, it is dreadful to not feel fine and have to work. I cant even begin to comprehend how affected he feels if not even being close to his fans is making him push through.

i’m not a shawn stan…i love a few of his songs…but i hope his diehards are being understanding. we can’t preach all this 2022 stuff about mental health awareness and such if we aren’t going to be understanding when it’s our fav !!
