I feel like after the overdose that was Euphoria another well-acted, beautifully shot series that's all about drugs, sex and messed up relationships comes across asĀ very gimmicky. It's another 'city of angels devil's playground' trope, which is a classic I guess,Ā but I would've been much more interested to see it from the lens of a queer person - at least that's new. There are many untold stories that are far from mainstream so...pick your poison.

With that being said, I think this has the potential to be very good and entertaining. Normally HBO never disappoints, and this seems promising to fans of Abel and this genre/trope.
