A catchy summer bop that brings Gwen back to her Rock Steady days with No Doubt...Do we like it better than Slow Clap and Let Me Reintroduce Myself? And how long before the accusations of cultural appropriation creep in? (Spoiler alert: they already have)

LOVE this. Reggae/Dancehall/Ska Gwen is my favorite. And Sean Paul?! It's been years since I've heard that name, but he's still serving bops. I'll have to look for more of Shenseea, this is a great first impression, for me.

Chola Gwen was my favorite :diane:

Chola gwen is top tier gwen.

my mom grew up with the Chicano culture and was like a straight up chola from all the pics I saw and she always told me the video was like a true love letter to the west coast vibes from back then. Not surprised tho considering where gwen grew up and who she was around.

Genuine question with regards to this particular video: Yes, I'm aware that Gwen has a history as a "culture vulture" (No Doubt's "Looking Hot" video probably being the most egregious, as well as the Harajuku Girls), but given the fact that this is Sean Paul's song, wouldn't he have been the one to have most of the creative control over the aesthetics of the video, including styling? That is, I wonder if Gwen even had anything to do with her appearance in this video.

They also performed the song tonight on Kimmel (but no Shenseea). She looks so happy, and even her hairstyle is a throwback to No Doubt's Rock Steady era. Please please Gwen make more music with No Doubt, or at least perform together again. She does so much better when she has someone to vibe off of.
