The K-Pop phenomenon is such a mystery to me. I mean, I definitely know how an artist can be important in one's life and almost feel like family, especially when you connect with the message on a deep personal level, but this is plain hysteria. And I hope no one here will take this the wrong way, but all these idols are literally just a product of mass consumption designed to appeal to the masses. Don't get me wrong, there are some amazing K-Pop groups and songs, but I'm having a hard time to connect with all this manufactured aspect and I'm really wondering where the hell does this fascination and bonkers dedication come from.

I have friends over at CELINE in Paris who had Lisa and V over at the menswear store recently, and they told me the fans literally swarmed them and asked to smell the garments they'd tried on, like, what the hell is wrong with these people. These outraged tweets are giving off the same brainwashed vibes.

But, being fully aware of how this fanbase works and behaves, Rolling Stone Korea, of all people, definitely knew what they were doing. Cheap tactics for clicks, but it obviously worked since we're here talking about it.

Everyone knows Rosé and Lisa are the standouts of the group... they have the solo careers to prove it, so not really that much of a diss of Jisoo imo.
