He apparently messaged various women very explicit and elaborate things about how he wants to r*pe them and what parts of their bodies he wants to torture and eat etc. Like, let people have weird fetishes, it's fine, but for the women the texts were mostly unwanted and I believe he was getting stalker-ish to actually threatening. He said something (in one of the texts to the girls) about how he took a bite of/ate the heart of an animal he just shot while it was still warm, amongst other r*pe/control fantasies. Let's not forget to mention the fact that he did all of that while being very much married to an allegedly oblivious wife. The entire situation was bad.
