Gaga Requests Costume From Chinese Designer Yimeng Yu For Upcoming Project

Chinese Digital fashion designer Yimeng Yu posted an email screenshot from Gaga's team requesting a pull from her for an upcoming project.

The dress Gaga is looking for is "avant garde pieces in black, white, grey and red".

What do you think? Could it be Chromatica outfit? Or something totally new?

Her style is gorgeous, very Iris Van Herpen. And very Chromatica! 

I remember a different small designer posted something about gagas team contacting them back in the Joanne era, and the deal fell through because they posted about it. I hope this doesn't happen to her

 You would think potential Gaga collaborators would know by now that if Gaga isn't the one doing the teasing/revealing herself, she'll probably retard/halt its release/announcement.  This is literally the Queen of Cancellations and Shelved Projects we're talking about. Follow some business discretion, for Christ's sake.   You can promote your work/your portfolio after it's said and done. 

 

But-- if this doesn't fall through, hopefully it's not just for a magazine photoshoot or a carpet/show appearance. 

 

Not sure of the chances for a Chromatica re-release and I don't think she'd release a follow up so soon, but who knows.  Don't want to get excited though. If these 10-12 years as a stan have taught me anything, it's to lower expectations.

i really dont get why people post stuff like this - yes its absolutely exciting but its not at all your call to announce or reveal it... they're contacting you to get you on board, not to give you permission to talk about what is going on.

there's the actual email from gaga's team in the screenshot posted by the designer themselves, this has nothing to do with "wannabe insiders"

But yeah, if it's digital fashion created with CLO, it would be for interludes or a promotional photoshoot? If they say they need it by Monday, I'm assuming it's for interludes as well.

Could that be what the 3D scan they were doing of her was for? 

Although I'm surprised that they'd be working on this right now.
