If there's a job as a secretary in a real estate agency and they write (has worked in real estate in the past), you can look past it if you apply in Canada, or UK, but in France they truly mean it. They will say "ur resume is good but u never worked in real estate so i had to find someone else). And when everything has to be specific it gets even harder and harder. I mean companies mean it when they list their requirements but they will sometimes make compromises if they are struggling to find the ideal candidates that's why if a job if a good fit for u and u think u can do it it's often suggested you try applying anyway cuz sometimes companies are half hearted in filtering their requirements if there's a compromise that can be made But it happens more during labor shortages.
