I believe Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Chile are putting putting forth a joint bid for the 2030 games! Im from Argentina but I live in the states (South Carolina now). I had heard about them wanting to bid for the 2030 ones! That would be another dream come true but a bit harder for me. I used to go to Argentina every year when I was younger, but as an adult I havent gone back as often. They have the World Cup history as the WC final host, the better stadium, and the city is miles better than Dallas. Hopefully it’s just early discussion but it might be true. The only thing Dallas has going for it is also the only thing FIFA cares about. The chance to make more money since they can fit more people in it. They are major also Montreal pulled out. Edmonton demanded 50% of all Canadian games but FIFA wasn’t impressed with the city enough to keep it in their final decision. I guess what I said about “major” is subjective. It’s half the size of the next smallest city (Kansas City), which is why I think it was at a major disadvantage. So is Calgary.
