Favorite Richy Choreography?

richy gets a lot of hate on this site unfortunately, so i thought it would be good to talk about the ideas of his folks do like. i personally really like the choreography for marry the night, bad kids, and stupid love (the goofiness of it only makes it better for me). dancin’ in circles’ choreography was fun too. and of course the scheisse BTWB choreography is her best of all time besides bad romance.

I do wish they would figure out what choreo would work for Gaga consistently so that she's comfortable but can still do the choreo on tour.

Richy has had a hand in creating the choreography all the way back to Just Dance, but the locals like to act like he randomly took over from Laurieann Gibson and somehow brought the quality down

Well Laurieann is known for iconic choreo and Richey's doesn't hold a candle to hers. The problem is her choreo is so intense, it leads to injury

I am sooooo over him being her choreographer and even just bringing in someone under him would help things evolve. HOWEVER, he has had his moments of great work. 

I think he slayed the Judas choreo and what little you could see of the John Wayne choreo in the music video. The Marry The Night video dance segment is ok for me and the Bad Romance choreo is good but desperately needs to be updated at this point because of how long it's been performed. Her dancing in the applause video is incredible for me so I think he nailed that one as well. Everything else is just passing for me.

...Buuuut the important thing to remember is that Richy has been there since Just Dance - so earlier than Laurieann, AND the entire time before her departure from the Haus his official title "Assistant Choreographer", where he collaborated with Laurieann and ALSO created choreo for Gaga. When she left the Haus in November 2011 he got the new title "Lead Choreographer & Visual Director"

Anyway... my point in sharing all of this is that I really dislike how Little Managers on here have concocted this narrative that there was a pre-Richy golden era when for all we know he was pulling most of the grunt work and Laurieann was just stamping her name on things. The receipts don't lie!
