Confessions was also a wildly successful album which resulted in many many paid appearances and business deals. She also, famously, is a business woman with large investment portfolio including Tidal, Vita Coco & Real Estate. She is a billionaire and that's a fact. So yuh. The way she was always so triggered if she felt a deal wasn't lucrative enough and spoke out about it so much etc always gave me vibes that she cares about money A LOT While it may have been good PR her calling out label deals like she was helping out small struggling artists that don't have that kind of voice I always low-key suspected it was really more about herself she was worried about Her team is also very strong on taking stuff down if it doesn't have copyright approval. Way stronger than most artists Also didn't some of her dancers defect to Katy Perry in part for better pay? She also doesn't own a largely successful cosmetics brand which is one of the best ways to make huge sums, but she is definitely above 800 million, for sure. A big chunk of Rih is tied to the valuation of her company right? I assume people like Madonna or Mariah Carey who pretty much wrote and produce every song she released will have more, given their peaks were before streaming. Yeah they do to Riri what they did to Kylie Jenner and Kanye, they take their company value and what they're technically would have if they were selling their shares. It's probably the usual way to estimate the net worth of someone but many believe it's what they already got at the bank and that they could get way more by selling shares so it's misleading. Also singers like nana Mouskouri or Gloria Estefan had theirs estimated above 400 years ago so they should probably be in this top 5... This list is BS. They ignore the ones the GP don't know anymore and clearly don't have all the infos. Also they don't precise the difference between value of shares and what's at their bank so many believe Riri/ Kylie/ Kanye are billionaires yet and that they could get more by selling their shares but the net worth are already including these potential sold shares benefits.
