I mean, Rihanna is hard to beat at this game, she's had some of the most unforgettable Met Gala looks:

SJP also loves to bring it, and even though this isn't my favorite McQueen outfit ever, I'd say this is one of the most memorable Met Gala appearances:

I hope I'll be surprised this year, tho I'm expecting the inevitable parade of gowns that have little to do with the theme. Also bracing myself for Kim K wearing Marilyn's dress - if the rumors are true, that's gonna be a moment.

fr tho we all know gaga 2019 and Rihanna yellow dress (idk the year) are the top 2, that's not up to debate

besides that, personally I'd say Beyonce and the dress stuck to her buttocks (idk the year either) and barbie ferreira last year, finally the underrated masterpiece of a dress and perfectly on theme that was metgaga 2015
