I’m not denying it’s doing good comercially, but for someone like me who’s into makeup and knows tons of other brands to chose from, that brand is not it. Like I said I bought the eyeliner because that one is truly amazing, but the rest is pretty ordinary. Sure, maybe they added some other great products since then, but it’s still overall a boring brand with terrible packaging and no exciting factor. Maybe the locals and soccer moms are into it, but the beauty community doesn’t give a damn about this brand. The selection is boring, the packaging is trash, and only a few products are worth the attention.

I could understand this, not to mention the launch was exclusive Amazon / Prime Day which was an odd launch with a type of 'exclusive' view. I mean who doesn't have Amazon so forth but it constrained the promotional opportunities with other outlets

What I will say is that I wish there was an innovative factor to it, considering this is a GAGA beauty brand. There's no point in being subdued when your looks are one of, if not the most, famous things about you. Moving forward I hope they capitalize off of the Gaga and stop giving us Lady. That only works in Jazz and award shows, in my opinion.

Their palettes were trash. Hoping they drastically improve the quality and aesthetic.

Exactly. This is Gaga, so I was expecting an alternative to Jeffree’s brand. Gaga 100% could have replaced him. The whole idea of making every palette feel like an era is so her. But instead we got this boring packaging, cheap cardboard palettes and they couldn’t bother to release something more exciting than a jewel tone for the first like 6 months they were in business… lol

That's what most likely to happen. The makeup sold under "haus labs" branding will be discontinued, rebranded and repackaged under a new name, so that Haus Labs can go on to make other lines of products, including skincare and perfumes like you said. If anything, it's a sign that the company is getting really big and really fast (since it's less than 3 years old!)

Honestly I liked all the designs. Fenty beauty is the worst visually and so boring but it's one of the best beauty brands. I just hope they focus on the quality and more products

I have no clue what it's like running a 'start-up' makeup business as a celebrity, but I wonder if the...less than exciting launch and products were due to her taking a different approach, as opposed to Rihanna straight up launching a flashy brand under Kendo (that is obviously amazing in all the rights ways).
