May 1st (tomorrow) is Gaga’s last performance in Vegas for this leg. Would love to share some of our favorite moments from each of the shows ❤️

Edit: Had to fix my misunderstandings! Lol there’s probably around 20 shows left

It's the last performance for this leg, but she still has ~20 show on the contract, so I wouldn't say final...

Probably won't be back until the fall though! I wonder if she'll resume doing a pop show then or just stick to jazz?

YAS!!!! Didn't know she was done, thought there were more shows in her contract.

Great news, now she won't be chained to Vegas

Her final performance there with this contract? If so, I didn't realize that, and I'm kind of sad :fatcat: I'm happy this era is over and she can move on to other things. I went to Enigma on January 17 of 2019 with my mom, and it was the best trip and best memories of my life. Walking around the strip with my mom, exploring Vegas, going out to eat, staying at the Bellagio with her and the ease of just walking to the concert from our hotel. This was my birthday and Christmas present from my parents since my birthday is right after Christmas, and the memories of this trip and seeing Gaga with my mom (who also loves Gaga, she brought me to the Monster Ball when I was in 6th grade) will be cherished forever. Thank you Gaga and Vegas, and here's to the future! :vegas:

I wish I was able to go to one of her Jazz shows.
Since watching the Westfield live show, I’ve been obsessed!

Does this mean that Enigma is a thing of the past?

I'll remember all of the hilarious interactions she had with the audience in jazz and piano, never seen so funny and cool before that

I think she has around 15-20 shows left to end the 80 shows she had to do.

Yeah, I don't like it when artists get chained to Vegas because then they don't tour near me.  I know ... it's selfish.

It's not selfish. Especially when majority of her international fanbase has been paid dust for a decade. Luckily that's changing a bit this summer and hopefully more in the future.

In a way it's selfish.  Artists in Vegas don't have the difficulties of touring.  Touring is very hard, and if you have injuries and other physical and medical problems, staying in Vegas seems like a solution.  But I still miss seeing those artists live in concert because it's so much better than watching a video, imo.

Eh, I see both sides. I can empathize, but at the end of the day, touring kind of comes with the job description of being a musician. That's how record companies, and artists themselves, make majority of their money.

Yeah, and artists get a thrill when performing in a packed arena or stadium.  A smaller venue can't feel the same for them.

Except for jazz, which Tony said is meant to be performed in an intimate setting.   A club or a place with cabaret seating is perfect for jazz.
