When I was little I loved playing with barbies and bratz, but I also loved Pokemon and hotwheels but I also hated being mistaken for a boy when I had short hair, so I have always been this way. I have always felt female but also something else just can't put my finger on it rn, so I just say genderqueer or demigirl.

I just mean the way you act is not going to change, people already know you as you are.  There's nothing for anyone to adjust to except maybe pronouns.

The point is that other people are weird and it shouldn't have to be stressful to tell people what terms describe you.  It should just all be so much easier than it is.  You're the same person you were.

I am comfortable with my pronouns I have always used which are she/her and my name as well which is Abbey, so I don't really need to change alot. I'm still Abbey. There is also a link between Autism and gender identity which is interesting as well, since I have autism, I thought it was neat. https://www.autism.org.uk/advice-and-guidance/what-is-autism/autism-and-gender-identity

This is definitely true. Thanks for clarifying.

I personally think sensory issues don't have anything to do with gender idendity. I do think people with Autism are more prone to hinging on to others identity issues and claiming it as their own. Especially ones who have access to social media.

Doesn't this describe most women? I would play with Barbies but my favourite movie was Jurassic Park. I don't get how that would make me a different gender.

Do you feel him sir?

This is exactly me! My favorite movie has always been Jurassic Park, but I also played with Barbies and dolls. I've always loved make-up and at the same time played soccer with the boys, but always felt like a girl though.

To me those things are just hobbies and preferences and have nothing to do with gender identity.

These sub categories give far too much weight to gender.  You’re allowed to like, indulge and relate to things outside of gender-norms, we’re all individual people with individual interests and emotions.

I don’t think drilling down to find exactly where you think you currently sit on this scale and getting a label from strangers on the internet is ahealthy way to understand or approach gender.

i dont get how this is different from just being a girl? doesnt this kind of thinking - where you find you cant be a girl because you like hot wheels or other traditionally "boyish" stuff - just reinforce gender stereotypes?

if theres a difference, then feel free to educate me:confused:

Sometimes it feels like I've got a war in my mind, I wanna get off but I keep riding the ride

Oh, I know, I'm at the stage of my life where I'm figuring myself out, don't take my ramblings too seriously, I just want people I feel comfortable with to talk to, I also have autism, so I tend to over analyze myself, I also had my sibling come out as nonbinary a couple weeks ago, so thats definitely a factor.

So I am afab and I think I am a Demigirl, I feel like a woman most of the time and then sometimes I feel a little more gender neutral. My pronouns are still she/her and I am cis passing or androgynous most of the time. But I am still valid in my identity no matter what people say! I hope you will accept me even if you don't understand me.

I hate Lauren Chen, shes a Ben Shapiro stan, so why'd you link me her video, shes a transphobe and the reason why many people in our community kill ourselves so kindly f$ck off this stuff is harmful republican garbage.

Of course, it’s hard enough navigating identity without being neurodivergent so I do empathise with you.  I’d just advise being wary attempting to attach a label to everything because this can cause more confusion and anguish than just accepting the individual nature of it.
