I’m sure Nicki would have a lot to say about Azealia’s career if she still were of any relevance.

AB wouldn’t like what Nicki would tell her, tho :huntyga:

She should've put this kind of effort and "deep thinking" towards her own career but since both azealia bankrupt and nicki are the same in terms of trying to paint themselves as the victim, she's not gonna expose herself like that so instead she's just gonna drag nicki :air: transparent ass clown

I don't know where she gets this impression that Nicki was once an unstoppable pop force but chose to give it up. Super Bass and Starships were her only pop songs to become hits and not even #1's at that, so I don't get where this idea that she was "eating up white pop girls left and right" comes from. She tried a pop experiment to become a crossover success, it didn't work out and she did it as the world was slowly easing out of pop and moving back into liking hip hop again anyway, so she naturally dropped dance pop like a hot potato as soon as it was officially no longer profitable. If she came back to pop now, no one would have time for her. It's sad but the music industry, the pop sphere specifically, is a very sexist place. Nicki is approaching 40 and plenty of pop girls have been deemed expired when they hit 30. If even her hip hop stuff, which is what she built herself on, isn't sticking anymore, neither will pop.

Sales show that the public also tire of rap females after album 3 or thereabouts. As I understand it, Missy Elliott and Trina are tied for the record as the female rappers with the most studio albums, with 6. I know that sounds wild, but honestly, look up all the female rappers, some have shockingly only made 1 or 2 albums their entire lives. It's a short career and Nicki appears to have reached the end of hers from a commercial standpoint. I'm sure she will beat Missy's/Trina's album tally one day, though, but she won't be a rip-roaring success when she does.
