I can understand wanting someone who now makes the country a priorirty versus Europe, that's a political belief. But I can't understand rooting for someone against gay marriage, against people wearing hijabs in public spaces (would be the first country where that'd be forbidden which is just ridiculous), and someone with financial ties to a dictator who is committing genocide as we speak, and who wants to leave NATO during the most crucial part of this era, with the war in Ukraine.
