Saweetie discovered her purpose thanks to meditation

Saweetie about meditation:
"Meditation helps me center myself. One of my mentors told me about it, and I started last October.
With it, I get myself out of difficulties and any problems I’m facing — it’s about alignment, recentering and refreshing my body, spirit, soul and mind.

When I meditate, I like to listen to soothing music and surround myself with plants and flowers. 

This practice — of lighting palo santo, of sitting quietly — has also made me grow as a person; through it, I’ve discovered my purpose, which is to inspire and empower women.

Once I reached this deeper sense of self, it triggered my interest and passion for music. 

Because musicians work in such chaotic environments, I have to make sure that I’m not acting erratic and being impulsive. I just take my time.
I’m patient. I want to make sure that what I’m doing has intention. We all respond to energy — it has an effect on our bodies.

When I meditate, I like to visualize: I’ve manifested a lot that has happened in my life.
Before I learned how to meditate, I’d write down ideas or create a vision board, and all of it’s come true. I feel like meditation only strengthens that superpower.

My kids will definitely be meditating."

Saweetie also revealed that her favorite song right now is her own unreleased song “Pretty Girl Meditation” from her upcoming debut album 'Pretty B*tch Music'.

I know you're joking but I feel like you can't say things like "I will inspired xyz". People are just themselves and somehow they end up inspiring people. It reminds me of those small pop stars who demand that their music is number 1, demand that they are invited to award shows, demand xyz, and can even imply that they demand the public finds them "iconic", or call themselves iconic. It's not how it works. The people choose you, you don't choose to be a certain figure for them. Pure narcissism
