FYI, Gaga released 2 albums AND a movie in the last 2 years.

She never stopped working, never stopped performing, despite her health issues. None of her contemporaries are touring in 2022.

Speaking of health issues, she toured non-stop between March 2009 and Feb 2013 (390+ concerts) until she broke her HIP... at 26. (You don't need a psychic to predict that!)

The younger generation is a lot smarter. Ariana takes a break. Cardi B has a career... and a family. Everyone has a beauty line or clothing line or lifestyle brand. Nobody's doing 200-date tours. Good for them!

As an artist myself, THANKS. If Billie is in her creativity peak it's amazing that she can release many albums in a shorter time. But that doesn't mean Gaga or any other artist should do the same, I rather wait 3/4 or even more years for a good album than a rushed, unispired one.

Well sure, if you pump out the first 10-12 songs you write onto an album and throw it out there

If you're going for cohesion, a message, and wanting to create a full on era then there's a lot more to do than just write 10-12 songs and slap it on a streaming service. There's a reason why some popstars' music sounds so cheaply made and generic  it's 'cause they put anything and everything on an album hoping it sticks and if it doesn't then whatever 'cause they're already writing the next dozen songs.

When an artist like Gaga releases, it's an EVENT  because you know she's conceptualized, scrapped, rewritten, and poured every bit of energy into crafting a project she believes in. Then she works her ass off defending that project and what it means to her. And every damn album is a masterpiece.

If she released at the frequency some artists do we'd be getting albums full of songs like Text You Pictures and The Cure and nobody wants that  or worse. We'd get a bunch of songs she had little to no involvement in creating.
