Every time i hear about her it's something about her album being delayed or needing another 50 decades to be done  Is that her only claim to relevancy or what?

She is waiting for a hit song obviously. You cannot produce or sell an album that doesn't have a hit in it. Especially if you're doing a solo debut album. That won't look good for your career in retrospect.
