 It just takes you somewhere else entirely. All of her experimentation and the evolution she was doing in the late 90s culminated in this song which I consider to be one of the most stunning songs ever made period, not just in her discography.

But really, for me, it's probably "Like a Prayer". That whole album means so much to me personally.

Perhaps.  If you weren’t around for or aware of Madonna circa 1989/1990. That was ultimate pop goddess time for her.  She has amazing work after this era, including the critically acclaimed Ray of Light and Confessions, but I feel like the time of Vogue, Express Yourself, Like a Prayer was just a whole other level of impact as far as the the GP was concerned.
