people now prefer to stream albums rather than buy them and Billboard changed many rules in the last years, albums had to be shipped to be counted, Billboard no longer count albums bundled with concert tickets or other merchandise and only counts 4 physical copies per credit card and 1 digital copy per credit card.

Yes very true! I remember MDNAs numbers were really inflated by ticket bundles
