Hmm im not sure the Björk comparison is on point here because she's a different brand of 'freak' (she's become less shock value and more dedicated to whatever aesthetic she has for each era) but also I see what you mean.

But to answer the question: not at all, I don't think this has an age limit.  She can be a mature freak. It would be weird if she did The Fame aesthetics now for example, but she can still be 'weird' in a more evolved way that matches her growth and her status now. I'd say it's not an age issue.

i don't think it's about age, i think it's more about how invested she is in the vision and project at hand and i have a feeling once the label loosens their grip on the need for her to turn a profit, she'll probably turn it out if she's not afraid of being called an attention seeker

Alice Cooper warned Lady Gaga not to let her stage persona take over her entire life.

Cooper told how Lady Gaga had found him inspiring, but he felt the need to make sure she was careful about keeping a distinction between her real life and her on-stage character.

Speaking to Reader's Digest, Cooper said: "As soon as I saw her on TV, I fell in love with the outrage. I couldn't wait to see her show.

"Last year, we met backstage and she was wonderful. She got down on her knees and did the whole "we're not worthy" bit from [the film] Wayne's World.

"She said, 'Alice, thank you for letting me steal your show.' I said, 'Gaga, I created a character called Alice. But it's important to keep Alice on stage. I never let Alice take over my real life.'"

I think that she’s been Gaga for so long that now she’s just enjoying some time being Lady. She will always be Lady Gaga, even if she is in her more Lady phase at the moment. Don’t worry, Gaga will make an appearance soon enough 😜
