StrawberryBlond 14,820
There are still more gaps that could be filled as well as accommodating the summertime in southern hemisphere countries, but this is a start. A quick trip to Australia and some sort of SA date at the very least would all be very reasonable at this point. I know it's an excessive amount of travel (hence, money) put aside for one date on an entire continent but for such a short tour, what's the harm? She'll more than recoup the costs. 1 hour ago, LateToCult said: Atlanta makes sense because 6 million people live in the metro area. The real snubs are Houston (7M) and Miami (6.1M). They’re massive markets and aren’t near any shows. I think they're hoping people will just travel. Arlington is at the very least, still in Texas, so the state's still getting a date. And Floridians can travel over to Georgia, which is right next door (though I would've switched Georgia for Florida too). I know, it still takes hours and whatnot, but better than travelling across an entire country or continent. The most major snubs I see are for NY (I never thought I'd see the day where a proud New Yorker like Gaga wouldn't perform there), Pennsylvania and Washington. I know the point is to skip a state every so often to provide an even spread but the entire western US, bar California, was completely left out of the equation. Hard disagree on anyone in the northeast getting snubbed. Hey have three dates to choose from and reliable rail service. Also I’m guessing you’re referring to Washington state? Not a surprise she’s skipping us. We’re so far away it’s probably difficult to justify the cost of coming up here for one show. I’m guessing they’re staying on a strict budget for logistics considering it’s such a small tour.

I'm not that surprised by the MetLife date, since artist like Taylor do it a lot; I guess that's the only big venue they can book over there
panosmonster 1,466
I’m really wondering about the staging. How fast she will get the stage from one place to another. I think that the staging plans have just finalised that’s why we get more dates added. Hope she doesn’t get very tired from this because of her health condition. The staging won't be an issue; they have multiple stages. They might only have just *announced* Tokyo, but it's been part of the tour schedule since 2020. And I think the dates are nicely spaced apart; Gaga is sensible enough now not to agree to a damaging touring schedule. It'll all be fine!

The dates seems well thought out so far, also, imho, the fact she is doing more and more stadium dates for her tours as of late than arenas also part of the consideration. With arena dates, she'd have to do 3-4 dates for the same of income that she can do with 1 stadium date. Meaning she would have strain her body more by doing arenas, so probably she wouldn't do that for tours anymore, and saving intimate shows for her Vegas residency? Jpanese 219
I want to believe that the tour is being planned well, but honestly the rollout has been a bit of a mess. I mean, half of us bought tickets not even sure what kind of package we were getting. In Tokyo, the stadium being used is very random and in the middle of nowhere. Honestly disappointing that she is not using: A) Tokyo Dome (a huge, well located and legendary venue). B) The newly built Olympic Stadium. Probably due to the last minute announcement, she ended up in that Dome that nobody in Tokyo seem to know 😅
