MelbHawker 6,583
Looking back on Telephone - the video was definitely a Pop Culture moment. That really established her as an artist and a Pop Icon. So yes, I'm extremely happy it was released. I would've released DITD and then Alejandro to close TFM Era but you cannot be disappointed with how the Era turned out. She dominated + became a global phenomenon.
Lucky 0
Yeah. It was the most obviously single-friendly songs on the album. It's a killer track, and the video rocks.
Vanilla 660
It was one of the best single choices she ever made imo. Gaga, Beyonce, great track, performances and video = :legend: I won't die, but I can't live without you

Queen 99
Ummm, I didnt like the single choices on that album... I would of left Bad Romance... but Telephone and Alejandro id have replaced with Monster and Dance In The Dark I did like the video for telephone though. And im not saying it was a bad song, there was just more songs on the album i liked more I agree with your middle paragraph. DITD would have been an awesome single. Damn it, Gaga! I've never cared for Telephone as a song, and I remember Gaga saying somewhere that it was her least favourite video, but the video to me had too much going on.. Guille 839
SURE. Every song on The Fame Monster should have been a single. And Telephone slays your faves, It's one of her most famous songs, It has Beyoncé and the video is epic. :Gaga:
